Although i must say I think that's a misnomer, because it's more of a lifestyle than a 'diet'... 
Here's a summary: First day: 3-4 spoonfuls of steamed black bean and maybe 3 oz of silken unflavored tofu for all 3 meals, and drink lots of water Second day onwards: 3-4 spoonfuls of steamed black bean before every meal, and eat tofu and beans for dinner Other rules: no food after 8:00pm, sleep before midnight, do not skip breakfast, drink lots of water The first week you won't see much result, but once you get used to eating the beans and drinking lots of water, etc, and you combine it with regular exercise, you will drop weights w/o any extra difficulty. The beautiful thing about this diet is that you don't really have to restrict too much -- you can continue eating almost whatever you want, as long as it's in moderation. Also, black bean keeps you full longer, so you don't crave as much snacks. Apparently this one guy lose over 100 lbs doing it in 4 months, and he's been trying to lose his weight for ... 11 years, and nothing worked for him. Also, he used to have horrible skin and hair trouble, but by going on this black bean diet, his skin cleared up and his itchy hair was cured too! I've only been doing it for about 2 weeks, and didn't do it too well the first week, but I really do recommend it. <3 j PS.
